Designed for close family and the wedding party, this gathering allows everyone to remain together in a relaxed, unhurried setting after the walkthrough concludes. The experience is thoughtfully guided by the Castleton team, with attention given to pacing, ambiance, and flow, so the evening feels warm, gracious, and effortless. Rather than transitioning off property, guests are invited to settle in — sharing a meaningful meal and conversation as the wedding weekend officially begins.

This rehearsal dinner is ideal for couples who value presence, continuity, and the feeling of being fully hosted from the very start of the celebration.

The Estate Welcome Reception Only

For couples who wish to gather all of their wedding guests at the start of the weekend, a full welcome reception may be hosted on the estate following the rehearsal. This experience allows the celebration to begin in a relaxed, social way — welcoming friends and family as they arrive and setting the tone for the wedding day to come. The evening is thoughtfully paced and guided by the Castleton team, with attention to flow, ambiance, and guest experience, so the reception feels warm, effortless, and unhurried. Rather than rushing into the wedding day, couples and guests are given space to connect, linger, and settle into the setting together.

Some couples choose to begin the evening with an intimate rehearsal dinner for close family and the wedding party, followed by a full welcome reception where all guests are invited to join after the dinner. This layered approach allows for both meaningful private time and a larger, celebratory gathering — all within a single, cohesive evening on the estate.
